Lumbar pain and kidney stones. I started my year at the ER.

Long time since I wrote something on here, I know. I am very well aware.
I will be honest with you.
I got some health issues regarding my back, and sitting for many hours at my desk, is complicated.
This situation started back in November.
Every morning, waking up became painful.
The stabbing pain in my lumbar zone was leaving me almost paralyzed for a good half an hour before I was able to roll out of bed.
During the day, almost nothing and less than nothing while training karate.
My big issue was just related to the moment of waking up.
I went to the doctor, and he prescribed me anti-inflammatories and painkillers for a week.
I followed the whole therapy.
But as soon as I got off meds, the pain was back.
I had to go back a week later, and he sent me to the chiropractor.
Yes, he did crack a lot of my back, and I thought I was ok.
A couple of days and I was back to square one.

Rolling like a kidney stone.

The selfie I sent to my parents to let them know that I was doing ok. Not even my husband was allowed in the room due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In the meanwhile, I managed to get also kidney stones.
So I spent New Year’s Eve drinking liters of water.
On the third of January, I ended up in the ER because of kidney stones.
Had a good night with a drip with painkillers, and they sent me home with a week of meds.
I am currently waiting for my MRI scan.
The doctor suspects some damage to one of the disks of my column or of some pinched nerve.
I keep on training as sport and in the general movement, are a relief.
The lack of sleep and rest has been a big hurdle in my ability to sit down and work on the computer.

Focusing on Instagram and TikTok.

I am doing better, as I wear a support belt and I take medication when needed, but as the cause of my backache is still unclear, I will keep going with the analysis.
That’s why I dedicated more time to creating content on the move for Instagram, Pinterest, Amazon (to visit my Amazon Influencer front store click here!), and Tiktok.

Green belt in karate Shotokan.

However, last week I managed to earn my green belt in karate.
Considering the whole situation, I am very happy about it.

I have a couple of articles coming up in the next few days for vegan products lovers and for people like me wearing prescription lenses.
Because let’s be honest: life with discounts sounds better!
