Neo Powder Shampoo: save space and water making charity.

Ready to test the Neo Powder Shampoo for you all!

If you are following for a bit over the years, you have seen yourself how I let my hair grow back long.

I haven’t cut them in a bit over the two years mark now, and they are to the mid of my back.

And I have rocked a shaved pixie for almost ten years straight.

It took a lot of patience, and a lot of deep breaths, to avoid falling back into “They have no shape, I need to cut them” phase.

The more my wavy-to-curly hair was growing back, the more hair-care brands were approaching me to collaborate.

I love to test products and probably by now, you know this very well.

So when the U.S. brand Cic Beauty asked me to collaborate for three campaigns, I said why not?

They proposed me to review products smart enough to instigate my curiosity.

Today I wanted to test their Neo-Powder Shampoo.

Traditional shampoos are made for 70-to-80% of water, this means a lot of plastic and space wasted.

Cic Beuty managed to reduce all of this, with this innovative shampoo, making it powder and making it water-reactive with their Adept™ Complex technology for vibrant, shiny and refreshed hair.

You can carry it wherever you want and it is ready to use: just apply the powder on your scalp, add water, lather, and rinse.

Yes, that foam is from the shampoo. It does what it says.

Done.

It smells like hemp and ginger and it leaves your hair full and healthy.

If you travel like me and you are used to carrying your shampoo, you know that solid shampoos or powders are the best ones: lightweight, allowed everywhere and practical.

They are also very transparent when it comes to declaring what this shampoo contains:

Corn Starch

Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate

Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate

Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose

Cocamide MEA

Maltodextrin

Pea Protein

Rice Protein

Hydrolyzed Collagen

Activated Charcoal

Caffeine

Niacinamide

l-Leucine

l-Isoleucine

l-Valine (branched-chain essential amino acids)

Sodium Hyaluronate (multi-molecular weight)

Melanin

Apple Cider Vinegar

Rosa Centifolia (rose petal powder)

D-Panthenol

Tocopherol Acetate

Natural Fragrance oil

Contain Our Proprietary Adept™ Complex

Of those, there are a lot that I already take daily through hair supplements so yes!

Aaaand the after! I straightened my hair for this time.

This shampoo does contain a lot more healthy and active ingredients than many other commercial shampoos I have tried over the years.

There are ingredients to regulating your sebum, others to promote hair-growth…this is a full-spectrum shampoo.

Being in powder, one bottle of Neo Powder Shampoo can last up to four times more than an average shampoo bottle.

Another reason why I decided to collaborate with Cic Beauty is that they are strongly involved in charity.

For every Neo Powder Shampoo sold, they are compromised in giving one at no cost, to a kid in Uganda through the Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project.

This association is focused on helping in creating a better future, as many children as possible in Uganda.

Unfortunately, more than 1 million Ugandese kids are partially or completely orphans and for orphanages, providing hygiene is one of the main obstacles due to the shipping cost to these areas.

The extreme light-weight of the Neo Powder Shampoo and its water-less formula makes a great cut on the transportation costs and the waste of water.

I am always down to collaborating with brands who work hard to make a difference in this world.

Washing your hair, having a shower, are things that for most of us are part of the daily routine.

We give this for guaranteed.

But there are millions of people out there, struggling with being able to have this right/luxury.

With this shampoo, not only you will have a great benefit for your scalp, not only you will help the planet with a more sustainable product.

You will also help a child to feel good just as you feel coming out from the shower.
