Imagine being 15 years old and watching for the first time Fast and Furious.
It is 2001, and little I knew back then that these movies would have influenced my adult life so much.
Fast forward, I am 35 years old, with a professional career as a stunt-woman specialized in drifting and stunt bikes.
I gained some pretty decent recognition primarily in the Americas, Mexico, and Asia, as a sports announcer for the MXGP, the international Grand Prix of motocross.
Ten years of living a Fast and Furious life.
During the past ten years, I have been touring the world with my helmet.
Among bruises, cuts, and a life lived a quarter of a mile at a time, I have seen stadiums standing up and praising me; and my people.
Obviously, with COVID-19, a lot has changed, but the fire burning in me for adrenaline, the passion for those big toys is still the same.
My hands are itching to go back to my dusty life among cars and bikes.
The invitation and the plot.
Last week, Universal Pictures Belgium, who knows my story pretty well, sent me the invitation for Fast and Furious 9 as well. So, for the first time ever, I will be officially part of the Toretto family in some way.
Which is honor enough.
Universal kindly organized an event in Antwerp for the influencers into this kind of movie franchise.
Fast and Furious 9, known as F9 among the fans, takes us to the edges of our seats.
This time, Dominic Toretto, who is once again brought to life by the legendary Vin Diesel, will have to fight against Dominic’s own brother.
Jakob Toretto, interpreted by John Cena.
In my opinion, after a year and a half without going to the theatres, this is a great way to celebrate the moment.
Justin Lin comes back as a director.
The movie sees Justin Lin as a director, as long as one of the producers.
Lin previously produced the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth chapters of the franchise.
He was the one able to transform the franchise into an international blockbuster.
In Fast 9, women are not holding back when it comes to action.
We can say that this chapter is a celebration of the girl power of the outstanding actresses being part of it.
