Femme Luxe April 2021 haul: a honest review.

Pretty quick Femme Luxe haul this time because I opted for ordering one minidress, one top and one set I had my eyes on for months.

I have been crazy busy with the agency side of The Wandering Cloud so receiving this in my dropbox was a reason of joy and occasion to take a break between Zoom calls and content creation.

I spend most of my days wearing the lounge sets from Femme Luxe or their joggers and tee shirts.

It feels almost weird at this point to wear a minidress, a nice top or something I would use to go out on a shopping spree or to travel because in the last fifteen months, my outfits have been basically all the same.

But fashion allows us to play a bit more and to try clothes such as dresses, that maybe a few months ago we would not dare to wear.

It is 2021 and it is time to have fun while playing in the wardrobe!

Let’s dive into it!

White Pleated Long Sleeve Shirt Mini Dress – Kelby

I still can not believe my eyes.

After months of hoping for this to happen, I finally own the best seller shirt dress in white from Femme Luxe.

This whole adventure started when I ordered the Black & White Oversized Houndstooth Sleeveless Rib-Detail Mini Jumper Dress – Kristen.

If you check this dress and how it is styled, you will see that the model is wearing a white shirt dress under it, and I fell in love with the whole concept.

Therefore, Femme Luxe also offered a white, oversized shirt mini dress to complete the outfit.

And finally, I ordered it.

I am so surprised by this one.

I was expecting it to be the classic cotton mini dress, but no.

Lucky for me, it’s a beautiful stretchy material.

The waist is pinched, so it will make an hourly glass figure without any effort.

It’s a very decent length, so though I do not sport so often minidresses, this one is just perfect on its own or with a pair of leggings.

In these, I will go for the latter because Belgium is snowing these days.

Yes, I know.

It is April, and outside from my window, the weather is in full Winter Wonderland mode.

White Puff Long Sleeve Zip Up Top – Mandee

Last year’s big, puffy sleeves were already a hit in my closet.

This year I decided to stay faithful, and I just ordered this beautiful white milkmaid-style top.

It comes in a crop top length, so I use it with high-waisted pants, possibly jeans, and together with my cowboy boots for an outfit in country chic style.

I also used it with a pair of pinched pants, in beige that I ordered a few weeks ago, and the switch from country chic to casual chic is easy and fast.

The cargos are also available on the Femme Luxe store.

I like the corset style of the main part of this top.

The zip makes it easy to put it on and the material used makes the zip a decor of the crop top.

I am surprised by the quality of the fabric used for this piece.

Silky and smooth on the skin, yet fresh and a pleasure to wear.

Brown Crop Ribbed Two Piece Co-ord Set – Suzi

This outfit has a long story.

I wanted one of those sets a few months ago, in jade green, a version that you can admire by clicking here.

Then, out of nowhere, I saw the brown version, and as you may have seen lately, I started to wear more and more neutral tones when it comes to my clothes.

The biggest part of my clothes from Femme Luxe is cuffed on the ankles. This set, with the wide-ended pants, is something new.

The all coord set is very stretchy.

I was not expecting it to be so expandable, but it goes all the way up to one size if you stretch it.

The tee shirt is a crop top, with short sleeves, but the pants are a very nice high-waisted pair of pants.

I would say that the two pieces compensate each other with a final result of an effortless casual-chic style.

The fabric used is light and adapts to summer weather.

Unfortunately, one of the items I ordered this time was sold out but I hope it will come back in the future because it is beautiful overall to stay in.

And overalls are my favorite clothing items when it comes to travel.

Let me know here or on my social media any other piece of the Femme Luxe collection that you would love to see here on The Wandering Cloud!
